Traktor x1 and Cross.

I bought the Traktor x1 controller. But Im having a hard time to get it to hook up with cross1.5.4 and all the other Cross editions.
J kut has made a MIDI map and I have tried to unzip it and import it into Cross via the "file/preferences/MIDI"
The icon displayed in the "MIDI" is a crossicon with the text traktor 1.50
But I get no reaction whatsoever from the controller.
Any ideas??

Hey,

when you push a button on the MIDI device is at Cross under MIDI preferences the name of the device green flashing? This shows that MIDI input is recieved.

Hi,

yeah, that´s basically my bad (or NI´s shitty Manual)
You have to set the X1 to midi-mode.
To do so you just have to hold down the "shift" + "MIDI" buttons, until one of them turns green.
Then it´s in midi-mode and will work fine.

p.s. I´m not using the x1 much currently, but expect a mapping for 1.6 within the next month

no green lights flashing..... but in the top of the MIDI pop up it says online in green....
behind all other midicontrollers in the pop up theres a padlock in grey, but not behind traktor

my bad...again, on the x1 you have to press shift+hotcue to enable midi-mode.

the only thing working is loop out.....all the other buttons are dead....

1: which version of Cross?
2: have you changed anything in the X1´s controller-editor?

I´m pretty shure i used the default configuration for this mapping....

No havent modified anything but I was in Cross 1.6
But now in 1.5.4 and I can now get the right deck to browse and load, and loop.
the browsing doesnt work on my left deck

Cant seem to get the effects either to work.....

restarted Cross and now everything except browse and load into left deck works. looks promising, but hoping for browser opportunity at both decs:-)
