PROBLEM USING MIXVIBES DVS Ultimate WITH U-MIX44

Please go to your system preferences. Click on "Hardware & Sound" and then on "Sound". A window which you can see in the attached picture on the left should appear. There you click on your audio interface and select "Preferences" or something like that (the button in the lower right corner). Then the other window should appear where you click on the last register card. There you should select 48kHz!

PLEASE do this for the in- and outputs. This means in the first window do this with your U-Mix 44 in the first and second register card.

If this does not work please install ASIO4ALL. There it is easier to install and configure the audio interface.

thats what i had it set as, althought it is like blocked out so it wont let me change it..?

Hey,

you have to close all applications which have access to your device. So close MixVibes and you should be able to change it.

Hmm ok. Have you also installed Asio4all and mapped there the U-Mix? it could be that Asio4All is blocking you because it has the exclusive rights.
Otherwise you can test to deselect the exclusive mode for the audio device. That allows multiple users to get access to the device (can cause problems when one device is using it at 44,1 and an other application with 48).

In the first window, did you click on the register card "Recording" and choose your interface's preferences? Is that also greyed out?

I was just suggesting ASIO4ALL but after I have installed it on my machine I have realised that you can not choose the sample rate :-(

Register cards are the items of the menu in your window like playback, recording and so on.

Which interface preferencesdo you mean? we are currently speaking from the local preferences do you still have opened and also uploaded as a picture.

can you change it when you reboot and after the reboot plug the U-Mix in and can you change it then?

If it will not work you can test disabling the exclusive mode which is on the same register card where you find the sample rate.
