Denon DN-X1700 as DVS - Cross: input/output prob

Hello,
I just got Cross yesterday and I have been trying to get it to work.
At the moment Cross is able to recognize that the X1700 and S3700 are connected. When Asio is selected, its as if Cross can not hear the input/output. However, when I select the default PC audio drivers you can hear the music being routed through the X1700.

Does anyone have experience using the X1700 as a DVS?

BTW, i used the traktor pro demo to verify if the DVS function is working and it did recognize it.

Any suggestions?

The issue has been resolved.
I was searching around for other posts and there is a discussion in the French language section about the X1700.

Well, I don't understand French, but I did see Asio4all and I gave it a try and...Viola!

Everything works now.

This begs the question what is going on with the Denon asio drivers????
