I use Mixvibes DVS Ultimate and Mixvibes U-Mix 44 in windows 7. I have done the installation, I run the install wizard but it doesn't recognise the vinyl (no input signal). It recognises the soundcard but in the next step it doesn't show anything (not connected)

Please post a config report. Can you look if your CPU is from the "sandy bridge" type? Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Steve

j-kut and I have encountered that there are problems with Intel processors of the "sandy bridge" type and some audio interfaces. j-kut was looking deeper and found a solution (changing the buffer). Unfortunately this does not work for all computers but it can be the cause of an error. Cheers Steve

Two things: 1.) Bootcamp is no good solution if you are asking me, there are a lot of errors that occur while using bootcamp. Ic upgrading to Cross an option? You won't regret 2.) Your audio interface is not installed properly. Please reinstall it after having a look at the Tips & FAQs thread in the technical support forum. Cheers, Steve

Basically this is only the name that intel has given this specific cpu-motherboard configuration ( 2nd gen i-cores featuring l3-cache and a 4-link ringbus directly connected to cpu,gpu and memorycontrollers instead of crossbar architecture) But there are only 2 things relevant about it: -higher bandwith->better performance and changed usb-handling. But unfortunately the changed usb-handling can lead to malfunction of usb1.1 devices, mainly those which stream data constantly (audio-devices for example) All you need to know is, wether it is one or not. 2011 built i-core->sandy bridge. Dont buy before testing! (or make shure you can give it back if there´s any trouble)

Steve, thanks for the answer. I've reinstalled programm about three or four times with cleaning up and the problem insists. I bought my macbook two months ago and Mixvibes three days ago. Of course, I don't want to change notebook or soundcard and software, so telling me that I'd better don't use this, isn't useful... I wonder what is wrong and what can I do. What do you mean that isn't installed properly?
