No offense, but what point are you trying to prove?

Have you heard of a U-Mix Control Pro X-fader failing? I havent!
And with all due respect, if it´s good enough for Supaphonik it´ll do for you as well.

Jeez....im not trying to make a argue here but it sure looks as you do. If you read the post you will see that I was asking for a MIDI controller. Mixvibes recomended U-Mix controle pro and I said: if you can make it with a crossfader that lasts like innofader or Numarks cfp then Im interessted. Simple as that. The rest is you trying to tell me that the Numark cp is not as good as I think it is and that its not the same technology. I accept your view of it and I hope you can try to accept mine. Now lets try to end this in a friendly way shall we?

Shure we can,

I didnt wanna make an argument out of this, but stop judging stuff you obviously have not used, and learn about your stuff.

Excuse me if i came on a little strong here, but from someone with a DMC pass in his profile I expect some proper knowledge ( about the gear he is using/talking about )

Posting wrong technical facts has never helped anybody, especially since a lot of beginners come here as well!

CP-Pro: good qualitiy vca-fader (about the same as Vestax PCV)
Innofader: magnetic, no wear or bleed, ever!
2 completely different things!

good night.

Look man.... I havent judged anything or anyone. I did mistake the cp for the same tech as innofader. Guilty of charge. But I haven said innofader was bad. Please read the post and you will see that all I have said is that Im satisfied with my Numark CP! And that is not telling new members something wrong! As far as the dmc avatar.... I was a DJ from 1984 until 93. I have several dmc championships behind me. I havent touched a mixer or turntable since 93. Thats 17-18 years....Just started out again as a hobby. So you can expect whatever you want. I havent said, meant or done anything here that should cause a harmfull reaction from you or anybody.
Heres a quote from me, now wheres the judging??
thoms wrote:Yes but is the crossfader "indestructable" like Numarks cfp and Innofader? I cant use a cf that is of the "old type" cause I wear em out in no time.
you surely see that Im speaking highly of BOTH cfs dont you?

I respect your honesty, massive props for that!

Never wanted to tell that the cp-pro is bad fader, not at all!
I´ve used it for nearly 2 years as well. It´s just completely differrent from the Inno. But let´s let this go
What just blew my lid a "bit" was the feeling that you were judging the U-Mix Control Pro without a hands-on. So i apologize if i misunderstood you,
its just so many people talking trash on the net and my fuse is getting shorter every bloody day

So, sincerely sorry if i misjudged you!

Thank you. Yes I think you misunderstood me very much. If I didnt need help I wouldnt be on this board in the first place!
And when I said "old type of cf" you now probably understand that Im talking bout "old like in 80s and 90s type o mixers" compared to the cfs Im used to the CP is awsome!
But ok, lets leave this behind now and move on as friends ok? Im pretty sure Im going to need your advice on somethings again soon so....:-)
