The U-Mix Control Pro is small, has some very good features on it, also it is very resistant and very reactive. Some turntablist even use it (as seen in the video)

I want the best suitable small controller around.

Go for the U-Mix Control Pro you will really not be disappointed, it has been elected best controller of the year 2011!

Yes but is the crossfader "indestructable" like Numarks cfp and Innofader? I cant use a cf that is of the "old type" cause I wear em out in no time.

The full product U-Mix Control MIDI pro cost 300 € about 350 $ the price of an innofader is here 139 € about 160$. The innofader is of course not included but you might plug your own

The Numark CFP costs 75€ in retailstores here. And that cf is really amazing. I have beaten the living hell out of it for 6months and it still doesnt show signs of wearyness. Thats how equiptment should be built in 2011. Make a U-Mix pro2 with a cfp simmilar to the Numark ns6 and I will buy:)

Fyi you´re talking bout the cp-pro from Numark, which is a regular vca-fader. it is no way comparable to the Inno, though it is of very high quality. (I wore out mine in less than 4 months on a dxm pro)

But i´m very interested if the Inno would fit in the U-Mix Control Pro.
Anyone have pictures of the original fader + cabling and the faderslot?

cheers

I with j-kut on this one ...I love the inno fader in my old stanton sa12....the fader in my new ttm 57 is good to

if the inno would fit in the UMC pro I would buy one

I dont think it will fit....the inno is to high + you will need room for the inno C- board

Yeah, that´s why some pics would be great.

depth-wise it should fit in, but i dont know if the faderslot is free or if there are any pcbs taking up space...

So any measurements and/or pics of the faderslot highly appreciated

yes its the cp im talkin bout. by typing "cfp" i meant "crossfader pro".
And as far as regular concerned Im not so sure. Its a digital vca cf and it sure as hell lasts longer than regular "old" type cfs.
It is guarateed 4 million cuts. Numark referrs to it as "indestructable" and so far I agree.

The Innofader works the same way. The fader body glides on rails between 2 circuit boards which track the location and feed it back to the mixer digitally.

OT

CP-Pro and Innofader make use of completely different technologies:

pcv-contact-vca vs. contactless magnetic fader positioning.

The inno does not have any mechanical contacts, but the cp-pro is still a 2-track-pcv contact fader, meaning it will wear out.
Calling it digital only refers to the way the track-contact is fed back to the vca-circuit.
(Numarks 4 million cicles are just "sales-talk" imo)

Back on Topic

official statement bout the fitting would be really nice!

cheers

Well for the price of 48€ i can buy 4 Numark cps for every innofader, so if the cp last two million cuts Im more than pleased. So to refrase my point concerning the U-Mix: make a U-Mix ctrl with a crossfader that lasts minimum as long as a Numark cp. Then Im interessted.
