EVERYTIME I OPEN UP 3DEX IT TELLS ME "MIDI CONFIG ERROR" BUT IT IS RECOGNIZING THE ICUE3 DISCOVER DJ UNDER THE MIDI SECTION IN THE OPTIONS MENU. I REALLY LIKE USING 3DEX BECAUSE IT IS SIMPLE AND WANT TO USE IT WITH DISCOVER DJ. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.
PEACE

IT SEEMS AS IF YOUR MIDI MAPPING IS BROKEN. I HAVE TRIED TO FIND ANOTHER NEW ONE IN THE DOWNLOAD SECTION BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NONE. CAN YOU PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT YOUR SOFTWARE CD THAT CAME WITH THE DISCOVER DJ HARDWARE? THERE SHOULD BE A MAPPING ON THE DISC WHICH YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE INTO YOUR MAPPING FOLDER THAT IS LOCATED SOMEWHERE HERE:
C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Mixvibes\Cross Discover DJ\MIDI
CHEERS,
STEVE
P.S.: Writing in Caps lock does not speed up anything!

Thanks, Steve! I tried what you said but i wasn't able to get it to work. Do you think if I uninstall 3Dex and then re-install it that will work? Or is there a way I can download the driver for discover DJ for 3Dex? Or should I find or create a mapper for 3Dex? Please Help! I would much rather use 3Dex than Cross with the discover DJ.

If the MIDI connection works well you can try to build a new mapping. If this fails you should try reinstalling. But first of all: what software are we now talking about? Cross or 3DEX LE? I am a bit confused

We're talking about 3DEX. Cross works fine but I like 3DEX much more. 3DEX is what I am having issues with.

Hello, if you have reinstalled and it does not work, what you should do is then uninstall again your software, once un-installation is complete run a software such as ccleaner, which will allow you to delete some files which will cause problem, reboot and reinstall the software!
Hope this will help you out!

Hey,
and a note to the ccleaner and generally when edit the registry please save the registry first and than edit it. (CCleaner ask you if you want to save it normaly) If something is going wrong after you have cleaned your registry you can reload the old file. Then everthing should work like before.
