Hot Cue question

Postby indmix on 14 May 2011, 21:41

I use Mixvibes DVS with vinyl and use hot cues (locators) quite often to quickly get to a specific part of a song so i don't need to shift the tone-arm and search  , but i have a problem.

So i click on a placed hot cue button (ex. Hot Cue 1 at 01:00) , but when i start the turntable it suddenly switches to another part of the song (ex. 00:30) . This doesn't happen always, but quite often.
The tone-arm wasn't moved so that can't be the problem.

Thanks

Which play mode are you using? Absolute or Relative?

Hey,

I have the same problem ones. You load a new track and then the other deck is jumping to the real position of the neadle on the vinyl. When you use All Rel. Mode this happens not. Maybe use this mode.
(Happens last week on a party -> was not so good ;) but can happens)

regards
Christian

As said Christian, you should use only the relative mode! This should allow you to use your cue points!
