MIDI Mapping

Hey,

yes I see it now. Maybee some Cashing problem.

So to your question:

extend auto-loop and shrink auto-loop

You can go to your Preferences -> MIDI -> to your MIDI file you want to modifiere (if you modifiere an original file please make first a copy and edit the copy)
there you should finde touth funktions and push this little button with the + at the function.
Than should appear a window. Now you can push the button on your MIDI device and it should be mapped. (If it is a poti or a fader you can add more funktions).

That i already did, but in the right tabel (mappings) you have all the functions that you can assign to a MIDI button, the questions is can i put there an extra funtion.

I want to program "shrink auto-loop" and "extend auto-loop" but they are not in the list.

ok sorry than I have misunderstand you. To my knowlege there is only the posibility to map these functions which are shown in the table.
I also checked the funktion table which I got from MixVibes, but there is no function which would be like this.

A question from my side. What function do you want directly that the loop is from 2 beats to 4 or what?
If yes you can map your controller like it with the U-Mix Control Pro there is a poti where you can set your loop to 1/4 1/2 1 2 4 and so on like the list which is shown in Cross.
Maybee this function is what you want?

Its also a possibility, so whit a poti when you turn it than it changes from 1/2 tot 16 loops, what function do i have the use for that?

Hey,

so I tested it with good and bad news. This function is a bit tricky. The function at the U-Mix Control Pro is a Dec. Integer Fader/Knob. My Fader/Knobs at my Numark are all Trigger Fader/Knobs and there I have no idea to setup this function.

When you have a those button on your MIDI device it is not too difficult to map this but with other buttons I have no Idea. I will test this out but I can not guarantee that I will get a solution.
