setting up a proper cue monitor

Postby bez32 on 13 May 2011, 02:15

I am tring to figure out how to be able to just send one deck to my headphones when I hit the button, it still plays through my sound system, I have 2 sound cards at my disposal as well installed and working, I've also tried the various settings in the Cross discover DJ software. Any help or a point to some info on your site would be great thanks.

Also a silly note for a future software update, can you make it do the discover DJ shuts all the lights off on it? the only way to do so is to restart the program ans shut it off again
cheers

  a little bit more info, as to the two sc are they reconized by Cross :?: :?: , have you read the posting about asio4all , that way you can use them both in Cross to achieve a monitor system, if any of the sc is multi channel then you could seperate the front two to use as master and the back two to use as monitor :?: :?: a little bit more info will steer us to the solution that will work for you...

Hi,

same problem 4 threads earlier, how bout using the forum´s search...
Anyway, what´s your audio-routing in the software, what interface are you using, is the channelfader in the software down when cueing?

The discover is made by ION, so no updates for this by Mixvibes.

regards

Hello,

As you have two soundcards you will need to configure your audio soundcards, one for monitoring and one for the master.
To do that you need to do file->Preference->Audio.
This function will allow you to configure your soundcard.

Hope this will help you out!
