Hi Guys, Just finally after the 15 day trial period purchased the full version of Cross 1.5. Now the problem starts after about 3 hours of working the right deck freezes. In other words it wont play! Loaded the same song in the left hand deck (waited until the left hand finished playing) and the song which was loaded into the right hand side and did not play , Plays perfectly on the left deck. So the problem is right side (nothing to do with the song.) This has happen twice. I had to close the program and restart in order to continue. I am running Mac book pro 4gb ram on 10.5.8

Hey,
no problem. A question have you installed Cross DJ 1.5 or the newest version 1.5.2? Look in the Download Section there is maybee a newer version of your installed version.
If you have the 1.5 version test the new one maybee there is the problem solved.
My second question: What is your sound setup? external soundcard, internal device, one output, 2 outputs with an external mixer? special drivers for your internal/external card?
regards Christian

Hi Christian, As far as I know I have the latest version , did not know there was an update 1.5.2 Did they encounter problems before with maybe the 1.5 Anyhow I am using an external sound card but this should not interfere with the soft. I use external mixer with 2 outputs into the giga AV via USB. Correct me if I am wrong but buying the Cross DJ does not offer any free updates ??? so it would be strange that any latest download would be a previous version! Thank you very much for your help so far BOB

Hey, To my knowlege is that you can update to the new version of Cross DJ when you bought a full license of Cross DJ. I can see for Cross DJ a version 1.5.2 downloads.php?cat=54The interface can cause issues with the software but I think this could have a nother reason. How many memory have you in use when you have this "crash"? Under options you can set memory usage like 60% of your total memory. At different platforms and other users they got fixed it with setting the buffer to 0%. I could imagine that after a while the memory is freeed and than mixvibes Cross DJ will ask to that point and it crashed there. But what exactly happans I can't say without knowlege over the source code and debug informations. For this the support can tell you what could going wrong there. You said it happens in about 3 hours with any file. So there is no special file which is causing the error. I would run a testphase and check in background also the memory and CPU usage to see if this is causing the error. regards Christian
