Hey Guys, Thanks for all that karma you gave me. I like MixVibes Software. I choosed it in year 2007 and I will never go away from that. Thanks to the cummunity for my destiny gift Cross DJ. In a few days I set up a MIDI for the NDX with maybee working Display Usage. The MIDI Notes for this have I wrapped with MIDI OX. I hope it will work all than I upload it to the community. mybee there is someone who wants a mapping too. I tested yesterday the Cross DJ with my old Behringer BCD2000 (I mapped it directly in Cross DJ -- it's very easy to do that) and tomorrow I will check what Cross DJ can do in Action on a party. Keep Mixing and don't to forgett to stay alive in this beautiful forum. Keep it up! regards Christian

Hey Jim B and rhopkins, Thanks. And Yes I tested Cross DJ today for a round of 2 hours and I must say it is brilliant. The only thing is that I must calibrate my computer for better performance (sometimes the sound is for a second very bad) but that can I fix . Maybee changing the processor or something else I have everything here. Thanks I will do my best to help where I can. Now I can say more about the product Cross (DJ) not only DVS regards Christian

Hey,
Thanks. Here now a little Update to my experience with Cross DJ. I like the way how to Map my MIDI device. It is "often" simple. The only divicult point was to map my Jogs. But there I had experience with DVS 7 so it was not so divicult. I checked with MIDI OX my channel numbers for the jog and after that it was working fine.
Yesterday I had a little party in a local "Town" hall. It was a very little party so it was a perfect chance to test Cross DJ in action. So I set up my Setup with a MIDI device and the U46MK2 and run the show with it. I had no problems and no Crash and it works with most of my soundpool. I was surprised that it worked with more than 10000 tracks perfect. The search time was not too big (With DVS it is a bit slower but it is faster in Starting the Program).
One point which was surprising me most was that I could use my Touch Monitor with Cross. My Touch monitor is a few years old (build 1997) and has a max screen resolution 1024x786 and there I have all important informations on the screen. And the buttons are big enough to use the monitor. I like to use those monitors because it is very easy and fast to load tracks or press any button which is not mapped via MIDI.
All in all I like it and it is my Option when I use no DVS (big partys using CD or Vinyl, Smal partys now a MIDI controller with Cross DJ).
regards Christian

does this happen on the config shown in your sig? what settings are you using? cuz that lappy is seems more than enough for running Cross DJ, isnt it? i ve tested the demo version of Cross with vinyl timecode on my little netbook (an asus eeepc on 900 mhz with 2 gigs of ram!!) just to see how it goes and surprisingly it worked just fine on a little higher latency so i hardly believe its simply your setup which causes the bad sound. check your lappy cuz there might be something else..

Hey, Yes the specs of my notebook are good enough for Cross DJ but I use for Cross DJ an other computer. my smal setup is for rental where I not be there every party (sometimes other personals get them to make music with it) and so I use an older computer. The rental PC is older very older . But I can change hardware parts and test them to get the best performance out of this computer. I tested it on my good notebook and there it works fine with everything on max. regards Christian
