Hi! I just bought a U-Mix Control Pro, with Cross DJ. I have installed the software, but when i connect the controller, it doesn't respond to the software. I tried installing it on my laptop, and it worked, but it will not work on the other computer. Any suggestions why it doesn't work? Thanks.

Hey,
is the OS recocnising the new Hardware? I mean get you a information that new hardware is pluged in?
When you have connected many things on the usb hub and it is more than the bandwith of the USB hub you can also get a message like the new hardware wants xx% of the bandwith but it is currently x% available.
What OS do you use? Win 7 (64 or 32bit), XP, Vista, OS X (Lion, Leopard etc).
regards Christian

Did you have a look into the preferences if the controller is set as MIDI controller and if the interla audio interface is set as default audio interface? Maybe it is recognized but not configured in Cross DJ?!

Hey Steve. In preferences, if I go in to MIDI, it says "No MIDI device available"

Okay, then you are right: It is not recognized. Does nothing happen when you plug it into your computer? Maybe you can try another USB Port. Which devices are connected to the USB ports? A lot more? If so maybe there is not enough power left to serve the controller?! Cheers, Steve

The only thing that happens is that the controller turns on, and I've tried all the usb ports, and the controller is the only device connected, except for my keyboard and mouse. So I'm completely lost!

Is there an entry in your device manager according the U-Mix Control Pro?
