First of all, I want to say Thank you to Linda from Mixvibes Team. She was invite me to the Show in Frankfurt. Also big Thanks to Linoel. He was give me an deep look inside of the new Cross Update. Ralf a freaky German Guy alias DJ Partypappi was give me also an big support in The Hole Mixvibes Products.
In time of my Djing I use right now DVS 7 for 2 years. I always was in a kind of distance to change my set up and Software fully up to Mixvibes Cross. I had the chance to see how Cross was crowing up and start get a new Product in Digital Mixing. But still to the show it was not so interested to change. Because to many things was lost at Cross and the handling and use of this Software was not that what I plan to use.
But Mixvibes was making Homework and that what i was seen on the Show was impressed me so much.
In point of the new update of Cross all people they would have a kind of distance to Cross. Or also was not plan to get family with the software. I can say! Guys it will be magic. The typical what was changed is. That the surface has an new design. Also right now you have the option to show you different lines in the Play list by him self. So now you have BPM, Genre and so on also in the Play list as in the mediabase. The cover Artwork was be designed new. Now you will have the Look of your covers direct as an small window as Traktor Software in the Mediabase But much more nicer as Traktor ;-). Also on the right side you have an small window where all necessary information of the Artwork will displayed at the same time.
The next gimmick is. That now you can change your search function inside of the Mediabase by your self. This means you can search as example : Genre ,Typ of Beats ( you can select the range of Beats by your self) Comments and so on. So now Mixvibes will show you only the songs what have exactly that Data inside what you was select in your search function. This is fantastic , so it will be not necessary to sit home and search by Hand all songs to get an Playlist with all the same informations. It makes sense. So you can be sure that when you select House and the other category's that now Hip Hop song will be displayed. Also you have the option to select typical same songs with the same genre and Style to underline it with an Color. So you can see in side your Mediabase all the songs with the same identifications.Other nice Gimmick is you can select in front of your songs a smile the shows you the feeling of the song. This means. Happy smile is for songs that are a big burner. So you can select songs with an sad Smile for songs where be not so good played in the club.
Also what is very interested is , that in time when you have an gig in a club all songs will be stored automatic in a list with date and time. So you can remember witch song you was played at you gig at that time. Now you can select them as an Playlist. Select your smiles or comments and use it for your next gig. This list you can slide to the left side where all other windows will be located and it will be hocked as an extra window on the search and display tree. Also you can slide all you created Playlist Windows on the left side and slide it on the position you would like it. The explorer Function and also I-Tunes was created in new style.
In point of my situation I was selling my Stanton scs 3d and was getting me the new U-Mix Controller and i will Update now to Cross.Then right now Mixvibes Cross has an stand that other Software Disturber have hold there pans. Because Mixvibes will drop them of. All people that have a kind of skeptic in point of Cross. Pleas wait till to end of April then Normally the Update will comes. And all open questions will be closed and we all have an software what will be amazing. I want too say thank you to all oft the Mixvibes Team and sorry if my English is not so perfect at others here in the Forum.
