Audio dropouts DVS Ultimate

Postby denblokky on 13 Apr 2011, 22:00

Hello,

I have a problem with Mixvibes DVS Ultimate & U-Mix 44.

When I start mixing it usually works perfect for an hour or so.
Then the audio just drops out.
I get the same sound as when you disconnect a USB-stick and then there is silence.
The U-Mix 44 still gets power supply, but there is no sound and the two lights for channel indication are out.
Then when I reconnect the U-Mix 44 and restart Mixvibes it works fine again for some time.

This is quite an anoing problem as i have bought Mixvibes to play some 4 to 6 hour sets at a bar.

I have installed all the drivers and updates but that didn't help.
I own a Samsung R540 laptop with I3-380 processor and 4GB RAM.

Can someone please give some advice to fix this problem?

Thanks

Bart

Hey,

have you configured your computer for audio?
http://www.audioforums.com/resources/wi ... ation.html
This is for XP but most of the settings works also under Windows 7.

And when you using DVS can you please post a config report when everything is running? Then we can see how you configured your software.

regards
Christian

usb hardware deconnection, (not an audio dropout) check if Windows is still seeing the device when it happen.
