Next update should fix this because I can actually play m4a into my alpha version.

Good to know that your alpha version is working properly and that it should be fixed with the next update (which is btw not certain). The main question is, when will MixVibes come out with the next update in order to make the decision to wait for it or ask for refund.

You have customers who purchased Cross DJ in the Apple App store and the installed Cross DJ applications can not live up to the expectations you advertised with this product (see my previous post).

I get a clear "Media Loading Error", " Can't load media: unknown format" if I will try to use my iTunes files (and they are not protected).

I would expect at least from MixVibes that they recognize that there is an issue with this "Apple App store" version and provide an alternative e.g. a download link to a properly working Cross DJ (because your alpha version is working, isn't it?) or a quick fix.

Please let me know when the update will be out and if MixVibes can offer its customers and alternative as described.

I have a batch of m4a faulty files that are now working, so what do you mean by 'not certain' ?
Do you know something I don't about your files ? Did you do something special to them ?

The main question is, when will MixVibes come out with the next update in order to make the decision to wait for it or ask for refund.

Sorry I don't have a date.

ou have customers who purchased Cross DJ in the Apple App store and the installed Cross DJ applications can not live up to the expectations you advertised with this product (see my previous post).

It is reaching the expectations :
"The iTunes® integration is also one of Cross DJ’s most unique features: Cross DJ fully assimilates your iTunes® library allowing instantaneous playlist importation!".

- can you see your iTunes library : yes
- can you import your playlist : yes

I get a clear "Media Loading Error", " Can't load media: unknown format" if I will try to use my iTunes files (and they are not protected).

As I said some m4a are doing this, not all of them.

I would expect at least from MixVibes that they recognize that there is an issue with this "Apple App store" version and provide an alternative e.g. a download link to a properly working Cross DJ (because your alpha version is working, isn't it?) or a quick fix.

I already recognize the issue and it is not an Apple App store version specific because all the version share the same code. So all Cross version are doing this.
As said, it is already fixed and will be available in the next update and downloadable.

Please let me know when the update will be out and if MixVibes can offer its customers and alternative as described.

You want a right away immediately now solution : there isn't, you'll have to wait for the update.

Tx for the feedback MixVibes. It seems you guys are on top of the issue and I am looking forward to see the next update fix the "faulty" m4a files. Just for my info, how do you define a faulty m4a file????

Should= is not certain. Will = is certain. English grammar :-)

Regarding reaching expectations of the software: the moment we can
see the iTunes library, we can import our play lists and we can load the m4a format, then you live up to the expectations. Hope you agree with that statement :-))

I am not that deep into it and my m4a files, which I ripped from CDs, are working, but I think he is talking about DRM protected files or stuff like that?! Maybe I am wrong...

I don't know only the developpement know what is faulty or not. On my side I have batch of files to do test and some refuse to load, other are loading, and on the newer version, there is a bigger part of them loading, so it is an improvement for me.

Should= is not certain. Will = is certain. English grammar :-)

Yes, because I can't garantee that your files (that I never test) will work. They can be in the improved handling... or not.
And if I have used 'will = certain' and it doesn't, you won't hesitate to burn me on a public places.
I'm confident because all the files that still have issue into Cross, also have issue with VLC.

An iTunes collection is not necessary handling m4a, so you could still see, import, load from iTunes as expected.
