Hey,

the problem with the bad sound or not starting with a timecode vinyl had I with my system too. I had a ground problem. The ground cable from the turntable to the soundcard wasn't correct connected. After checking this it works now perfekt but only the first second there is a stopping of a second but this is I think a problem of the soundcard. (Internal construction --> some capacitor or so).

And on the picture your cd player looks like too loud. If I see it correct the VU meter is in the red section? the best result is in the middle of yellow. So maybee set the input gain a but littler.

You should lower the inputs of the U-Mix44 into the Windows audio panel.

9% is a good value for cds.
