hi and whats wrong with my U-MIX44??

hello to you all like minded people!!

I'm an older DJ that peaked at free parties and some small venues around the turn of the century. (sounds years back saying it like that) I decided to go MP3 with your product (DVS Ultimate).I maybe get on to my decks 2 times a month now so i have spent since Xmas trying to get a clean sound out of the software. i have now replaced my mixer, laptop, needles and even borrowed cables and decks of people to sort this problem out. I cant get a clear sound out of my system and never have since i got it at Xmas. i have realised that its the U-MIX44 box that is at fault.
Please can someone advise how i get this sorted under guarantee. I got from e-bay from some big company i cant remember off the top of my head.

hi and welcome to mixvibes and DVS peaked at the turn of the century how about when disco was fading and rap and hip hop first came to life first off regerster your software and you should be able to down load the latest up dates for your software and drivers for your hardware ,(U-Mix 44). a little more info as to your set up and what operating system you are running a little more details about what you are expericencing and what you have done to try to resolve it there is the possibility to send in a config report from the software that will give us a little clearer picture of whats going on again welcome to mixvibes fourm

thank you for your speedy reply, i dont get online very often (work commitments).
i have tried the software on my PC and laptop. I get perfect sound when just using the software a loan. When ever i use the time coded vinyl, or even real vinyl, through the U-Mix 44, i cant get a clear sound. It sounds like an old free party rig that is running to loud, like you need to turn it down. But no matter how low you turn it, it is horrid. If i run as i used to before i bought the software all is good. If I run the laptop or my PC without decks, just load a mp3 into a deck and play them, the sound is perfect.
I use XP Pro on both PC and lappie. I have downloaded the updates for the software.

With the sound coming out of the U-Mix 44? Or from your internal audio interface or from elsewhere?

Seems as if the audio interface is broken! If the sound is clear when you are using the software alone but if the sound is crackled if you are using it with timecodes then the error is somewhere else. I would suggest to install the newest driver. Please register your software/hardware in your profile and download the latest driver from the Download Center (right hand side).

all is good when not using U-Mix44. the coded vinyl has96-100% signal.
