MixVibes bag

Postby boc on 08 Mar 2011, 08:40

hey folks,

i was wondering if a mixvibes branded bag exist for carrying the soundcard? im quite sure its not just my 'problem' but im very keen on keeping my gear safe. i have a U-Mix44 which is not too expensive, still, i really dislike the idea of just dropping it into my record bag next to a bunch of other stuff and wanna avoid any scratches and protect its knobs also (its my nature to keep everything in stored safely, prolly its from my mom, lol)
in case there isnt any mv bags then can someone recommend a 'third party' one which i should look after for this purpose? a headphone bag maybe? or some small mixer bag? any tips welcomed

thank you in advance

I use this,

http://www.maudio.co.uk/products/en_gb/ ... igBag.html

It cost me £65. It stores my laptop, Hercules RMX and the Hercules Trim 4&6 (soundcard) 2 External Harddrives, Headphones, TCCD's and cables. Basically everything you will need for a gig.

It's perfect for my needs but it may be a bit to big for you ;)

It would be pretty cool to have a Mixvibes bag to put your soundcard, however it does not exist yet :( I do really like your transport bag Jim B !

Thanks :)

I've been using it now for about 2 years, and never had any damage to my gear. It's a pretty strong and tough bag.

indeed it is, as i already mentioned it would be just for the soundcard itself cuz i do have a bigger (record) bag (which i love!) where i now just drop the U-Mix44 next to the thin laptop case and the timecode vinyls

@mr community: then tell the merch develop team there was a request for a soundcard bag! ;)

Hey,

I use this case for the tour. It is realy good and you have much space ;). http://www.thomann.de/de/magma_digi_trolly_ii_large_set_black.htm

This is a set of two cases. The smaler one is the Digi Case Large and the big is the laptop / vinly bag/trolly. The smal back (digi case large) can I use also seperatly or put it in an other pocket or in a case. It is very helpful and save the soundcard and so on.

[EDIT] You can also buy the smal digi case seperatly: here is a example: http://www.thomann.de/de/magma_digi_case_large.htm So if someone don't need the big vinyl case.

regards
Christian

Would something like these do.

They are really for External harddrives but a soundcard is a similar size and shape ;)

You could always take a camera case, some of these camera cases are pretty big. I've got Lowepro camera bag and it is very big, go check out the link:
