My first DJ equipment was an Hercules DJ console + MixVibes 3DEX, so I noticed some things... There are two things I would change about the U-Mix Control Pro. First, the pitch slider. It doesn't look big enough for some serious beat matching, I would have made it twice as long. I realized, I enjoy the most of my hobby when beat matching gets tricky and you make it by hand. Second, I see the gain knob, but there isn't a vumeter or a "peak" led. One RGB led would have been great! I do like the looks of it, the colors and functionality are pretty well figured out. I'd love to take it out instead of some heavy turntables and mixer Just a thought. Daniel SG

Yes if possible the mapping will follow. next question is would you be able to by the hardware only
This is a all-in-one solution, sorry, we can't split it. Everything is NOW MixVibes...

There is only one peak led for the master clipping. I do like the looks of it, the colors and functionality are pretty well figured out. I'd love to take it out instead of some heavy turntables and mixer
For low budget/free parties it should be a wise choice.

I could work with the controller in Cross 1.5 without problems. With the controller you get Cross DJ (or ross DJ LE as controller only version) which is quite the same as Cross without timecode control. Interesting is what you said about routing your turntables into the U-Mix Control Pro to use Cross in timecode mode. I do not see why this is not possible but I have not tested it yet. Cheers, Steve

It works : you can do DVS setup with it. The only thing you'll need to do is import the mapping into Cross, but the next update of Cross will have the integrated mapping so it won't be needed.

@Steve, You can do this with a lot of controllers that have internal ASIO cards and the right amount of inputs/outputs. I've tried it with my RMX and it works quite well but I prefer the feel of a real mixer in a DVS setup
