You probably have an issue with your drivers, try with asio4all so we have no doubt about this.

If you do a clean reinstallation I would recommend it. Clean means that there are no registry entries left and that you install it to totally different locations on your harddisk i.e. was it installed to C:\program files\mixvibes\DVS and C:\program files\ESI you should deinstall it, clean your registry with CCleaner and then install it to C:\Mixvibes and C:\ESI or elsewhere BUT different from the former paths.
This is what I can recommend, hopefully this will work then. Be sure that you install the audio driver BEFORE (!) you install DVS and that you do NOT plug in the interface until the install wizard tells you. All this may help too. Crossing fingers mate!!!!!!
