I guess unfortunately you can not. But it is a low level guess, I have never heard about it. Greetings, Steve

Of course you can : - if it isn't solder on the motherboard - if you step with the same generation/family (chipset and power)
You can also have issue with heat because your new cpu is hotter and the breath system isn't properly calibrated (or the sensor) so it will turn at lowest speed or jump into limp mode.
It is possible, but I never said easy, it will strongly depend on your specific computer.

hahhahah naaah Cross works perfectly now so bye bye Mac, i hate it whatsoever, and I'll stick to my lovely Asus and win 7, but my next investment will definitely be something that is not made by Jobs.

Your issue was probably access time or transfer rate with the 1TB.

So here I am, three months later, saved (for a student) a lot of money (~900€) and now there is this little question again: Mac or PC Now I see it much clearer and decided for a PC/Laptop: http://www.notebooksbilliger.de/toshiba ... e+l670+1hdWhat do you think of it? Thanks again for all recommendations and greetings, Steve
