U-Mix 44 headphones problem

Hi!
Im wondering can i play sound only in my headphones when i connect my soundcard into a PC. Beacuse when i connect headphones in jack i can hear sound only in mixvibes home software. when i try some other software to play sound i cant hear anything...
Im using windows 7 :)

Have a look into the other programmes you are using. In their audio options you have to choose the soundcard you want to have the sound played through.
Additionally you can go to your system preference's audio settings and set the soundcard as default.

Thank you.
I configured software to use U-Mix 44 soundcard and all works when i put red/white cable in output, but when i wanna to connect only my headphones in monitor jack i cant hear anything and i didnt find any options in sound prefrences to route sound in that jack only :)

It is strange because the monitor jack is just a split of the 3&4.
All your outputs levels are cranked to max into the software and into windows ? They should, and then you can use the knob to lower the jack volume.

Yes they are all on max volume. I try to test it in sound preferences and when PC send signal to output 1 i cant hear nothing but when send to output 2 i can hear a tone. but i cant configure to send sound only on output 2 , beacuse now it configured to send all sound on output 1..

If you've got the U-Mix Control pack (U-Mix Control+U-Mix44) then you should be setup like this.

Then on the U-Mix44 connectors, the main will be OUTPUT1 and the headphones OUTPUT2 and Jack headphones.

I dont know what to do anymore...
That setup works in mixvibes software but if i wanna to play something in media player for example i cant...

Media player don't use asio, it is based on wdm. Just select the U-Mix44 as your default soundcard into the windows audio panel.

It is default card and i see output signal but on channel 1, so i cant hear a headphones. that is a point...
