Hi Guys, I´m using a macbook w/ 4Gb of Ram. In the preferences of Cross I noticed that the Audio-Cache is set to 60% which would be 2,4Gb but it´s "only" 1,23Gb. Why´s that?

Ah ok, didnt think of that So does having more than 2gb actually help better performance? I´m just interested as i might buy a netbook for gigs i have to travel to. cheers

Avoid using a netbook if you can.

That's the problem! Netbooks in general are not made for perfomance, they are made for mobility. Nevertheless good luck! Greetings, Steve

The min specs is something like C2D 1.8 or 2Ghz, I don't have in mind any netbooks that can benchmark to this level.
I would be happy if you proove I'm wrong, but they're more into energy saving & mobility than into heavy processing.
