to be fair traktor is an amazing offer.
I'm currently shopping for my first DVS system. I DJ in clubs and also mobile (weddings etc) I've got 250quid to spend and it's gonna be between traktor or mixvibes.
I'm gonna lurk around the forums for a bit have a good read about both systems.

Are there any mobile DJ's on here using mixvibes?

You can ask PartyVIBES, he is mobile with his Mixvibes software every weekend, sometimes also during the week. So he is the one you can rely on

You can buy here for example Cross Pack for 199€. French shop Nuloop a good retailer.

in germany it is also available for 199,- € incl. VAT. Surely that's 24 euros more than traktor but sound is even better...

If you don't know where to buy in germany just send me a pm. and blackbrook is right. I work every weekend with MixVibes for years now. I use Producer (DVS), Cross and Vfx, depending on the needs. I have an almost clean Win7-installation running with an UMTS-Stick with G-Data security-system (yes! while playing music), running ICQ and sometimes also IE or OPERA and stuff like that (yes! also while playing music) and my laptop is only a little bit faster than blackbrook's. You might add me on ICQ if you want to talk techs.

Anyway, my friend also wants to buy Cross in the future, and we came across a strange thing:

Discoland is where I bought mine, and i was surprised to see that juno sells the same thing but much more expensive.. 339£, while discoland sells it for 299€.
If calculated to our currency (Estonian crown EEK) the prices are 4678 VS. 6271. That makes junos offer 34% more expensive. What's that all about?

If you want, you might purchased from a webshop and benefit from the great price. Except if the shipping cost are too high.

I will call Juno and see if they can adjust the price.
