Cross doesnt work fine at start

heyo,

after starting Cross for the first time and start the turntable, Cross needs 30 - 60 seconds to play normal.
in the first minute the sound is crackling and the record shown in the software isnt spinning normal.
My notebook is a lenovo i5, 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM with Win XP SP 3, no background services (absolutely none!), no internet connection, LAN is deactivated, no firewall or anything else!
After the tutorial windows is totally slim, I have enver had that minimal configuration running. Nevertheless the problem still exists even if I activate auto loop or use my xone:1d it reloads again and the screen freezes, luckily the sound does not.
ive got also a problem to learn my xone:1d browsing the media rack using the jog wheel - forward works but backwards doesnt!

It looks like a usb speed issue.
This computer came with XP or you put XP on it ?

i have installed win xp and 7 both on this nb.
usb speed problem sounds interesting - i tried only the same usb port all the time. i will try an other usb port and send a request here!
