which for a long time user is probably really meaningful but for the newcomers in the US who is currently shopping for a DVS it means nothing

when I see newbies asking for which DVS they should choose, no one ever mentions MV. so I try to remind them that there is more than SSL, TSP and Torq. but telling them that Mixvibes is Mixvibes is not going to convince them. nor the fact the MV was a Pioneer years ago. the ratio features for the price was its best argument until yesterday

I'm afraid that what NI is successfully doing right now is what MV tried to do in an overly shy way with the recent price drop of the Cross Pack in the US. they're stealing market shares, and not only from SSL.

so yea a creative war has likely begun, but I feel also that the development of Cross needs to speed up srsly. I know new things are on the way. I wish it was coming faster and I mean it in the most unselfish way as possible.

im with you. hell!:) i heard about torq and vdj before cause of download.com and skratchworx.
and vdj lite with my old Numark dmc .
i tied mixvibes only after a buddy of mine in the uk told me of mixvibes. but the thing is when i tried the demo u could only use one deck. which never gave me the ture feel of the DVS.
it seems its always been like that .

i think to win us in the u.s.a you should do what n.i did
try before you buy.
even one up them and do what vdj did with a 30 day demo so we get the feel of mixvibes along with MIDI enabled and all time code enabled
with some way of checking the net if u have the right demo s.n .

before i crossed over i went as far as buying the time codes of mixvibes
and t.s pro to try them .will u gess who won :D

try before you buy is the way to kill t.s and ssl in this DVS war.

along with real ipod support like torq . :D

so to recap i have had torq then vdj lite to vdj pro (still have it )
to mixvibes DVS pro and last my fav cause of the layout mixvibes Cross .

as far as mixvibes DVS pro and Cross go i think you guys should do the same as n.i did with t.s due and pro but only with Cross
the Cross thats out now would be like the due .
add everthing that mixvibes DVS pro has to Cross and call it Cross pro . have some kind of deal for use that own mixvibes DVS to Cross over to mixvibes Cross for free .
for those of use that have both mixvibes DVS pro and Cross
free Cross over to mixvibes Cross pro :D .

i think that Cross is where your going to get use in the u.s.a
with its easy set up along with everthing that mixvibes pro has in it with Cross's pro layout .

so in sort if the mixvibes team had one DVS and not 4
it would be better for mixvibes Cross support
and im guessing easier on the mixvibes team .

I'm seriously considering buying the Traktor Scratch Duo pack, not for Traktor software but for the Audio4 sound card which is included in the pack.

http://www.decks.co.uk/products/native_ ... cratch_Duo

For a £150 for this card is a steal. Before this reduction this card retailed at £250, so you can see it's a bargain.

What I would like to know is, if anybody has used or using this card with Cross. For what I've been reading about the card is that it's first class.

I think Cross and the Audio4 would be fantastic

Of course it works but this audio4 isn't as interesting and isn't a competitor of The u46.
About previous posts don't worries too much Mixvibes have some answers in its strategical stock of marketing weapons, I can't say more than in Poker game "we follow" the competition isn't closed.

Audio 4 does not sound great to me the sound is very flat
I prefer the warmfull sound of u46m2 + Cross combo

isure that Ni is very strong on marketing but not impressed by their products

I noticed that it's a "while supplies last/until Dec. 31st" deal, which leads me to believe something new is coming next year. Since new products are usually never cheap, I believe MixVibes will be just fine.

Just speculation, mind you
