you got to take the output of your computer sound card not the cd deck output...

did you solve the problem yet ?

you need to mute the monitor of your inputs in the control pannel of your sound card to stop the beep sound.

True in most cases but not on this one. There isn't any output directly linked to the input sound card. it's like an usb turntable.
Just take your computer sound card output instead of the cd deck output.

I don't have any video (and can't make one) but I did this sometimes ago : viewtopic.php?f=270&t=17013&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=45

Here is the translation :

Wiring :
- both usb deck on the computer with a usb cable and a timecode cd (no audio cable !)
- usb audio dongle on the computer with the headphones (monitor)
- the main ouptut hooked to the computer on the integrated/Standard soundcard (sound going to the speakers)

Configuration :
- launch MV
- go to preferences/options/soundcard
- sélect asio4all and 2 outputs
- go to asio4all

in my case :
* Conexant is the internal soundcard and I've only selected the needed output for the main.
* USB audio codec is the iscratch, I only choose the needed input
(do the same for each deck)
* usb sound device is the usb audio dongle

then go back to MV :
route the outputs like this
iscratch_02.JPG

So I have one output for the main and the other for the monitor You can also do the opposite by putting the monitor dot on the correct line.

Now I will setup the inputs :

Do the same with your both deck (I only have one)
As said from the begining you have to keep the less things into asio4all.
Don't forget to activate VINYL on the gui to have the control !

Yes, a 4input/4output card.

Inputs from your CDJ's connect to the inputs on the card, the 4 outputs of the card connect to 2 channels of your mixer.

Jim this is a very specific case and usual DVS settings doesn't apply there.

Here are the details :
The decks are the soundcard inputs, the usb thumb is the monitor channel and your computer soundcard is the main output.

This is why you need asio4all to aggregate all these into one virtual device.

You will also need 3 usb ports : one for each deck (this is how the timecode will travel to your computer) and the usb thumb.
