Price war starting?
That's the feeling I had visiting the BPM show in Birmingham beginning of October...
A creative war is in my opinion now a necessity to distinguish Mixvibes product from competitors. For ages we have the lowest prices of turntablism solutions we need to prove now that our solutions are also more reliable...
Good news Cross adopt a new bpm analysis to win some markets and respect.
In memory of the good old time when Mixvibes released DVS in 2004, the price of a timecoded turntablist solution was around 600€ or more. Making a turntablist solution around half the price was a part of the marketing of Mixvibes when the company broke the monopoly of Final Scratch (native instrument & Stanton) and Rane-Serato. We did it, the DJ market needs also affordable products.
Prices, Creativity belongs to the culture of Mixvibes so I don't worry too much specially if we keep the best from our user demands.
