Cross iTunes album artwork integration

Postby larry.s on 07 Sep 2010, 06:23

All of the songs in my iTunes library contains album artwork; however, only about 50% of the album artwork for the non-DRM AAC type files are displayed in Cross 1.3.2. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Hey,

I had the same problem. My conclusion is that iTunes does not affect the mp3's ID3 tag. It is using its own "tags" and stores it in an own file - something like iTunes explicit. I am using Media Monkey with which you can connect covers to the id3 tag so that any programme can read it.

Exactly : make sure your artwork are into the tags and not into the host application.

Thank you for the information gents! It's interesting that Apple doesn't seem to handle ID tags for album art in a standard format.

Sorry but when I think of Apple nothing astonishes me *duck* Guess phaded & paul will kick me for this statement and maybe a lot more but Apple always goes its own way. It may be clever but causes trouble if you are not using a mac ;)

I agree Dan. If not for iTunes I would probably still be using CDJs vice a DJ digital controller.
