Delay between start point and first song waves

Postby FaM0uS on 27 Aug 2010, 19:05

Hi !

I haven't found any informations about this problem, maybe I'm the one own to be disturbed by this.

As you can see on the screenshot, I've got a big delay between time indicator and first song waves.

I try to learn scratching on my CDJs, the fact that I scratch down to the beginning of the song trouble myself because then, there is a important time delay before earing first sound waves.

Any ideas ?

Thank you very much.

I wanted to say something too : Cross 1.4 is a magic software since MIDI learning function add ;) Thank you for this and long life to MixVibes.

If auto cue is not your choice you have to set the cue point manually. Press Play and then quickly press play again so that you hear a vey small loop. Now you should be able to move this loop with your jog wheel. Rewind till the beginning of the track. You can adjust it with your jog wheel and if you are satisfied press cue. So you can start from the very beginning. You have to do this everytime you load a new track into the deck because nce the cue point is set for the current track and you change it there has to be another cue point. I am doing this because of the use of the absolute mode since I mix with CDJs, if there is a solution let me know ;)

Okay, thank you for reply :)

I work with Vinyl mode on my CDJs and Absolute mode on Cross.
The best solution I found is effectly to set the cue, it's that I do to get the red indicator on my CDJ cursor screen, that help me to be careful on back jog movement to the beginning of the song because : if the movement is very important, Cross set the position before first sound waves.
