hey there...
i have recorded plenty of mixtapes with no problem using a program called MP3MYMP3 ........ its great!! all i do is have a lead from the record output of my mixer into the mic jack of my laptop!!!! then i set the levels on the program to elliminate distortion and hit record!!! then i burn my mix straight on to a cd!!!!!

perhaps u should try this!!! just google the program and download it for FREE!!!! :)
