trouble with sound and headphones

i have the ion discover DJ and my problem is trying to get the sound off my computer and int my saudio system while still using the heead phones. i have the computer hooked into an audio giene 2 from a usb port when i try to use the headd phones to listen to one track while playing another no sound comes out of the head phones jack on my PC. also the sound gets louder ofthe track that i i push the headphones button on so that you can hear it over the other one even with the Cross fade completly on the other track in order to use this to perform i need use of my head phones please help or i will have to return the product

welcome to mixvibes fourm, sound card issues have been adressed in other postings,need a little more info,on how you have it configured.postings on asio4all in the tuturioal section might be of intrest also. main question is in the preference tab ,in the audio section is Cross software reconizing the usb sc, and how is it configured,diagrams in previous posting will give you some help in how it should look/be set up, we are here to help,slow process but posting from prior problems/experencies should help you solve this untill we get more info,and reply
re reading the posting seems to point to problems with config for shure, the output from your comp is the main out, the sound from your usb sc should be used as headphones, you might have them backwards,,check you audio config table ,
