Hi K, welcome to the MixVibes forum mate.

I've been using Cross since last year and I haven't looked back. I use Cross every Friday and Saturday night at my club residency.

MIDI is being implemented in the next major update, which, I believe will be released very soon ;) (The Cross users are currently testing the RC version :) )

HI Jim,

Thanks for the response.

How do you find the iTunes intergration with the software. Currently have all my music in iTunes and sorted by Key BPM etc with smart playlists.

If this feature of crosspack is easy to use then it will save me loads of time prep wise.

With Cross you can access all your playlist made by iTunes. So for you this seems to be THE solution ;)

Thanks Steve

What is the sound quality like when using music from iTunes.

I have noticed in the past when using iTunes to listen to music it is a lot quieter than WMP for example or other music players.

Does this effect Cross Pack.

I'm trying to make the decision to use my existing files in iTunes or re-rip from CD as WAV and just use Cross's own playlist feature?

Hi K, to be honest mate I have never used iTunes so I can't help you there mate, but I think Steve has helped you out on that one.

As for your sound quality question, I think this one is for Steve to answer again ;)

Have you tried demo yet K, it might answer some of your questions mate.

The sound quality of Cross is - in my honest opinion - much better than in DVS. Maybe it is just a personal impression but both compared I think Cross sounds better.
If you use the iTunes integration in Cross or choose your files through the internal explorer makes no difference in sound quality.

Steve
