??posible changes made in Cross rc???

Postby daniel clark on 03 Aug 2010, 00:23

 havent down loaded Cross rc yet :?: :?: kinda perplexed by having to???re enter serial if you want to use/go back to 1.32 :?: :?: :?: also secptial because of the problems/diffculties when move to rc ver of home,, never the less curious about the changes, one slight flaw was found in the 1.32 ver pertaining to sound cards and the version 1.32 not being able to play multi sound cards as in version 1.25.(support should remenber)  has that issue been adressed yet.still envisioning Cross applied to a laptop with a installed asio compatiable sc and being able to use a simple usb sc to keep down the amount of wires and external equiptment nessary
  also remembered about the keyboard short cut for the crossfade :?: has that been changed/modified

You're not supposed to downgrade, but if you put your serial in again : it works.

also secptial because of the problems/diffculties when move to rc ver of home,, never the less curious about the changes, one slight flaw was found in the 1.32 ver pertaining to sound cards and the version 1.32 not being able to play multi sound cards as in version 1.25.(support should remenber)  has that issue been adressed yet.

No it is not an issue, it's a choice. Only asio can give proper performance, so in the worst case you'll use &sio4all.
When you use the scratch in MIDI, with a too high latency the sound is not good at all.

still envisioning Cross applied to a laptop with a installed asio compatiable sc and being able to use a simple usb sc to keep down the amount of wires and external equiptment nessary

asio4all

also remembered about the keyboard short cut for the crossfade :?: has that been changed/modified

you can now map your keyboard as a MIDI controller. ;-)

 Didnt have time to reply this morn  First thoughts  that 1.4 Cross is a release canidate to be tested untill bugs and such are found and corrected for final release, small point if you can go back to original program by entering your serial # Second  You said the changes made from 1.25 to 1.32 in audio card config section was a "bug" now weather it would have been corrected was up to the dev team (i think)thought the funcionality of using multi channel cards and other sc the ability to tye them together with asio4all would seem worth while,, so its has become a not choice because of the un avaibility. Third sounds good to be able to use a key board as a MIDI controler  But still will wait and see the responce to 1.4    thanks for the responce, and help as always

I'm not sure to understand this point.
What was exactly in 1.2.5 that is not any more in 1.3.2 concerning the audio routing ?

I remember this bug : too many inputs and ouputs and some are missing. Should be fixed, I'll ask the dev.

So if you wait a little (very little in fact) bit, then you'll have the final release to play with.

Nothing special about the keyboard mapper, it just use all the commands and functions of the MIDI mapper.

In fact it is the same mapper, only the input device change ;)
