First of all sorry for my bad english (im from hungary) I don't see any topic with this problem . So i bought a umixx44 mixvibes pack with 7.2.1.8 software and new timecde vinyl's. The problem: when i change song on the other virtual deck ,the sound stop a bit, only 1 sec...... 7.2.1.8 software installed from cd, umixx44 driver installed from cd, a new win 7 installed. Laptop: hp nx7400 with intel core 2 duo t5650 cpu and 3 gb ddr2 800mhz ram , 120 gb hdd. This problem dont come usally, sometimes. i try the power options down to XP style and mixvibes system options, but no result. i havn't got any idea.
Thanks for the help,

This looks like a latency problem. Have you done the "Optimising your computer for audio software/hardware" tutorial that you can find in the tips&tutorials section? Additionally you can set your latency higher and check if it is better. If so you can low it down step by step till you find your best latency.
Greetings,
Steve

Latency problem? The latency is by me with umixx44 256 samples.(128 sample - waveform jump around without intervention I 512 sample - no fast reaction for scratch) Now played 1 hour with this setup ( updated DVS 7.4, U-Mix44 ). Here was only 4-5 problem, 5 times stop a music a bit (when i change track on other virtual deck ) This happening will be a latency problem?
I tried this power management in win7,no result.

thanx daniel clark !
i will be make this report. I'm so sad because this problem is with 1 umixx44. I have other umixx44 soundcard and i want to join this card's with asio4all to 1 card with 8 in and 8 out. This problem what i have with 1 card, will be double with asio4all ( 2 card), or not? I like to use 2 st in for 2 time code vinyl, 2 st out to my mixer, and i like to use 2 st out 8-8 sample pad send two other channel to the mixer. This full setup is possible?
Thanks for the fast help, Gabor
