keyboard mapping,need plenty help

went on a mission to keyboard learn,getting some of it right,got sampler section the way i want it,got cue and play also,the problem is with changing the values in the dropdown panels of the edit section will not stay changed/after changing them to match MV existing map ex crossfade, cant get inc int noup to stay ,when the learning put only one of them in the map,in all actualty want to change the key stroke to match existing functions. tried looking in the file folder ,cant get to it that way searched info in previous posting, search under keyboard ,not muchthere, so any one with some knodlege/experience ,,enlightment brings karma plus the added bouns of me not driving everyone nuts, thankyou in advance

also are we talking Cross or home?

can you post the lines form the keyboard.ini that are not working.

Home 7 RC 7.4,put mouse on crossfader left,try to learn to arrow left( same as in other maps) Cross fade right with arrow right,what being mapped is crossfader a(should be player1) flag is inc,(should be inc int noup). change theses in drop down tab ,when closing edit page and trying operation the fader moves backwards one push moves fader one little bit,,go back to edit page and changes reverted back to original learning script, cant figure . thankyou (gotta go to work now)

left crossfader crossfader A inc 10 0 0 set crossfader val1=1000to
right crossfader crossfader A inc -10 0 0 set crossfader val1=1000to
thats how the learning set it up/canot change it to the values that mv has in mapping for same,and make it stick,miunite i close the edit page it reverts to the original

Can you please copy the crossfader lines from the keyboard.ini file
and post them

this is the scanned image i took from the mv keyboard file i tried to get to work the sampler section learned correctly the crossfader got all screwed up, the info in the posting above is how it looks in the edit page hope you can help figure me out

no need to scan it mate.
just open the keyboard file using notepad

look in the file for any line that refers to the Cross fader
select these lines and copy and paste them into this topic

A trying to figure out the way happy to get you to help me figure out how to open the vkb file got it to you the best/fastest way i could, went to try to type the info in the posting , but heres how the file looks in the working mv keyboard file

Cross Fader should look as follows

Right CROSSFADER 1 10 NOUP INC INT
LEFT CROSSFADER 1 -10 NOUP INC INT

Open you keyboard file in notepad and manually change the values

Opened m v keyboard file, manualy changed it but it keeps going in circiles try to save the changes any thing i missing

dont know what you mean by circles
what you cannot save the file
or you updated it and the keyboard isnt working
