Postby KANZEREBRO on 15 May 2010, 22:16

My notebook it's:
-Intel core i3
-Windows 7
-4 GB Ram drr3 1066 Mhz
-320 gb HD 7200 rpm
-Ati Radeon 512MB video dedicated.

The Program:
-Mixvibes DVS MKII

The Trouble:
When i load a song, the song loads at 100% and calculate the BPM, all its ok, but when i press play in the program, it doesnt work.
Don't even read the song, nothing the screen looks like " static ".
I tried touse the normal DVS, the RC 2 7.21 and the 7.3... no-one of this version works....
Please HELP !!!! :!:

Hmm. Sounds like some general problem with your OS.
Is this a "clean install"? Did it work before?
Did you try to reset the settings of DVS7?

And yep it works might it's beause an update of windows 7.. because once i was using normaly then i updated windows and it's not working anymore... now when i reinstalled all sofwares ( OS, drivers etc ), works... but when windows get updated it's not working anymore so,, there it's needed an update of mixvibes i guess...

Well if you just reinstall DVS7 the base settings will stay. I`m not using DVS7 at the moment but i think there`s some option to reset all settings to default.

Hmm, hard to say. But if you tried different versions of Mixvibes i don`t think that it is a general bug. Even when other applications run okay.

Sorry if I am asking again, but did you delete every part in the registry and all files in every folder (installed folder, userdata in your"own data" folder,...).

A trick that worked for me was that I installed it to a different location i.e. it was installed to C:\programmes\DVS7\ first and then I deleted everything and installed it to C:\DVS7\ and this worked. I think it is because maybe left files redirect to the former folder and work no more. It is worth a try!

Greetings,

Steve

You press play in the software but do you use timecode or not ?

If yes then you don't need to press play in the software, just start your deck otherwise check the vinyl on/off button.

If the U46mkII it's not seted as the Sound Device, i press play in the software and the song sounds in the speakers all good. BUT if the u46mkII it's seted as audio device ( sound card ):
-Without timecodes i press play in the software, and nothing happens
-With timecodes i press play in the tourntable and nothing happen.
nothing happen = ( the song don't start )
Also I can't even take the song ( making CLICK with the mouse ) and move it.. the song doesn't move, when the u46mkII its seted as soundcard.
