European turntablism survey => University. Need German Com'

Postby abdel on 13 May 2010, 21:13

Hi everybody,

My name's K-tana, i'm a French DJ / Beatmaker, cutting it up since 98. I'm also a student, and for this year i'm working on turntablism (master degree).

I'm making an on line survey that's very important for this work. This study concerns 4 to 6 countries in central Europe (i don't have time for more) which are : Germany , England, France, Spain . (Both Switzerland and Belgium too, but without dedicated questions).

Then i really need you to get on it and representing germany as much as you can, because german Turntablist are very important for my work.

This is anonymous, and there is only 54 questions (about 4 minutes max), in a other way, please if you start it, try to finish it, and PLEASE don't act like some english teen who are lying on every questions, it cost me money, and i won't win anymoney with it, so this is not a joke.

There is famous and internationaly known DJ's and producers that helping me doing this survey so please if you are a
TURNTABLIST and if you have 3 minutes, let's get it on !

Apologies if you read some bastard german language, i sometimes use translator making it, but there is both english and german questions

Thanks a lot for your help.

K-tana a.k.a End-K

Unserious ? I made this survey for only 300 Turntablist in theses country : France / Germany / Spain / England. Only to give me some answers, for a part of my work. Note that you are the first person in entire european Ttablist forum, telling me that it sounds unserious.

This is a work for the Toulouse university, Geography UFR, i made a first work on Palestinian / israelian conflict, but it was so hard for me, that i decided to turnback on my job : turntablism and DJ'ing.

And now my question : are you a turntablist?

Not really! I use the vinyl to spin, but I am not that kind of guy that is able to perform turntablism. But in fact you can not post some questions without telling anyone what it is for exactly. Ever heard of data privacy? I Would like to know where my data is stored and what for. Just telling "I do this for..." does not convince me. This is what I meant while saying "unserious". I did not want to make you angry, have in mind how I was feeling about it!

Greetings,

Steve

EDIT: My answers were recorded. I hope (!) that you will leave a link to your work, so that I can read something about it. I would appreciate that. Thanks!

A plus,
Steve
