I just got my Ion Discover DJ today, and I installed Cross Discover DJ (1.2.9), but it crashes instantly upon opening and doesn't allow me a chance to even enter my serial number. I tried downloading the demo for 1.3.2 as well, but with the same results. Instant crash. Is this a common problem for mac users?

No, it's not : - delete user/library/preferences/mixvibes folder - install the 1.3.2 update : downloads.php?cat=55and re-try.

There is no directory labeled as such. Not a folder anywhere on the computer labeled mixvibes, nor discover DJ settings files or anything of the sort. I've tried the 1.3.2 update as well, no avail.

Ok, I found ONE folder labeled "Mix Vibes" but its directly in the library, not in preferences, and it merely contains one folder "Cross-Discover DJ", and that contains two empty folders, Crash and Logs. I deleted it, and reinstalled 1.3.2, but still the same thing keeps happening. Made no difference at all.

If I try without the controller, the program opens, tells me it failed to detect the controller, and gives me two options: retry and quit. If I keep hitting retry without the controller plugged in, nothing happens. If I hit quit, it quits. If I plug in the controller and hit retry, the program crashes instantly, just disappears form the screen, and the mac error reporting message comes up.

So the issue is the controler, the software just act like it should.

I talked extensively to Ion and they told me the controller was fine, that it was a software issue, since it obviously wasn't installing correctly if the folders weren't there.

I also tried booting up the mac with the controller plugged in before startup, reset my PRAM and NVRAM, and repaired disk permissions. No luck with any of these either.
