Crossfader channel settings

Postby Fant0m on 22 Apr 2010, 17:10

Hi,

I got the following problem. I got a new Mixer -> Numark M2. The problem is that if i move the Crossfader to all the way to the left i hear the left turntables full volume both channels and if i move it to the right i still hear it only on one channel. If i move it to the right its the other way around. I didnt change anything on my setup but the mixer and with my old mixer it worked fine.

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Have you pressed the channel selector by accident?
On the screen, Is the left deck routed to '1' and the right deck routed to '2' (selection box on the lower right of each 'player')?
Cheers

Thanks for the fast answer. I checked the channel selector and left deck is 1 and right deck 2 just how it is supposed to be. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your reply.
What exactly do you mean by that?

Try to have a look on the monitoring on the player MV

I didn't change any setting in mixvibes and with my old mixer everything worked fine.

You talked twice about the right side of your crossfader....
If you didit make any changes in your Settings then your problem is the mixer.
Do you mean your Master Output or your Headphones?
Your Mixer has two cue modes. Did you turned it to CH1-Ch2 Mode?

Its my master and my record output. Both act the smae way. As long as i have only one cinch calbe connected to the master/record out, the crossfader works fine. If i have both cables connected and play for example a song on the right turntable and turn my crossfader to the left i still hear the left output of the right turntable. The result is a more quite and only on one Speaker hearable sound of the right turntable even tough you shouldnt hear anything of it at all.

Crossfader bleeding ?
When the crossfader is in the center and if you ONLY use the faders, do you still have the issue ?
