Postby AndrzejB on 14 Mar 2010, 20:08

Hi. Is there a possibility to plug a guitar to my mixvibes? If so, how to do it?

Hi AndrzejB,

Just plug it into one of the inputs on your soundcard. If you're using the U46, use the Hi-Z port.

mmmm Sounds like you need a 'preamp', or be able to change the sensitivity(gain) of the hi-z input...(your guitars pickups/electronics are not very good im guessing)
*Im not sure if you can do this with the u46 software; Somebody correct me if im wrong.(i dont use a u46)
The easiest way around it is to use the 'line out' of a guitar amp, or effects pedal that will boost the signal up before it gets to the soundcard.
Cheers
