U-Mix Control Pro

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to post in the controller board, so I'll try here.

I'm thinking about purchasing a U-Mix Control Pro, but have a couple of quetsions that I'm hoping someone will be able to answer...

- According to a review (linked below) the loop length is limited to 16beats. Is this a software limitation? Is is possible to do arbitrary loops using manual in/out?

- Will we recieve software upgrades (e.g. to version 2) for free, or do we need to purchase sw upgrades (I'm looking at buying a v1 controller).

Thank you!

first, u cant buy version1 of the controller anymore, just the control pro 2 (it has a few minor upgrades to meet the new features in crossdj 2)

second, that review is 1.5 yr old. of course u can adjust more than 16 beats (up to 32 which i think is enough). and theres the manual in-out loop too, as you would expect ;)

and third, yes, upgrades are always free, you can get them from the download center of this msg board after entering your software serial# on the user control panel here on the right

i hope i could help and we just got a new member here

Thanks for the quick reply! - ok that sounds great then :)

The one I was looking at is ex demo, (so I'm pretty sure it's v1, just old stock). Will this be able to control the v2 software? (not sure how major the v1/v2 changes are)

Cheers
