Your system seems an ok spec, does it have a firewire connection, firewire offers more bandwidth for an audio device that supports firewire connections... if you don’t then maybe you have a slot for a PCMCIA/PCI Express adaptor card.

Well from what Bryan's been saying, SP3 has so many problems that Windows offers an uninstaller for it. SP2 is much better
