hello everybody,
sorry but im very busy,
so i cant answer so far that i would.

I have test V11.
Now, I can assign fx 1 or 2 with DECK A, B, C and D very well.

For the led, here is what happens :

If the selected fx assign is the DECK 1 (LED 1 ON and LED 2 OFF) and i select DECK 3, then LED 1 BLINK and LED 2 still OFF.
But if the selected fx assign is the DECK 2 (LED 1 OFF and LED 2 ON) and i select DECK 3, then LED 1 BLINK but LED 2 still ON.

Same thing in the other way :
if the selected fx assign is the DECK 2 (LED 1 OFF and LED 2 ON) and i select DECK 4, then LED 2 BLINK and LED 1 still OFF.
But if the selected fx assign is the DECK 1 (LED 1 ON and LED 2 OFF) and i select DECK 3, then LED 2 BLINK but LED 1 still ON.

I continue to play with our mappings, and i notice a litlle problem.
When i use SHIFT + JOG to go backward or forward,
each time i push the jog to deplace myself, the indication time of the track switch between the elapsed time and the remaining time.
Not very good things :s

Other observation.
I think that i already say that but im not sure.
If you use the quad decks mode with "3 players + 1 sampler C"
and if you use DECK A and choose SAMPLER (6.12)
you can staying on DECK A and use the samplers of the DECK C .
But if you are on DECK B or D and choose SAMPLER (6.12),
its impossible to use the samplers of DECK C.
Can we do something for that ?

great, at least the assignment is correct.

I made some changes, I know is a lot of work but it is just trial and error at this point. See how it reacts now.

Fixed. but just as a little bonus
If you are on deck 1,2,3 or 4
And you are in HOTCUE MODE for the pads
pressing HOTCUE a second time does not changes anything for the pad but changes your time display mode.
You may have to switch the time display mode when you switch to HOTCUE. If you don't like it I can take it out as it is not a big deal.

try now and let me know, I found couple of commands lingering from the DDJ-SX base code. They are now gone but I don't know if that is a fix because I couldn't find anything else bad in that section.

Appreciate you input
Mike and djsamrties and know this can become very tedious but please hang in there with the testing and we will get to our goal.

Hopefully when we are done MIxvibes may decide to include the mapping as a standard map for the DDJ-SR and we would have bragging points as a joint effort.

The costs ain't the making. It's the breaking...

One can only hope, I am just trying to help people here. if it happens great, if not is OK too. Perhaps you have more insight since you used to be with Mixvibes. I know you are back there LOL. I don't get why.

The making of software to work is the 'cheapest' part. Once it is supported the breaking (of anything whatsoever now or in future) cause the additional costs.

There a lot more costs between having a working piece of code and the end of life. (if I am right you are/were in this business as well and already know).

If it isn't to English, at least it is an expression used between me and my US developpers (other software..)

I know exactly what what your talking about now and you are absolutely right. Perhaps It could be made available in the user maps section of the downloads and add a disclaimer that frees MIxvibes from future support.
