Guideline for each FX

Hi, it could be nice provide a guideline about how each FX works.

For example, many FX works starting from Left-side, but Bi-Filter is neautral in the middle. There is a XY-Pad but many effects seem to support only "X" moviments.

I just only interested about witch effects support "Y" moviment, but the question could be generalized

It's not really easy to describe an effect in general terms, but the axes are for 'amount' and 'depth' of the effect.

amount is something like the 'ratio' between the dry (original) and wet (effect) sound.
depth is something like the 'amplification' of the wet sound.

Getting familiar with effect is mainly a matter of doing... different tracks may even appear to work different because of some sound levels being more or less present.

Or pick up something like "Recording Techniques for Dummies". It will get you a deeper understanding of what it is that FX truly do. Once you know the basics, translating those to individual FX is a breeze.
