I have recently downloaded the current versions of Cross for iPad and iPhone..

When loading mp3 file over 12 meg the app crashes on both devices.

iPad mini and iPhone 5c running the current iOS with no other apps running.

I DO NOT have the issue with Djay2 for iPhone or iPad, i have loaded large mp3 recording of 1 hour a 17 minutes with no issues.

What is Cross Mobiles file size and length limit?

Anyone else have this issue?

12Mb ain't that large I would think. Might be something specific in the file that causes it. Do you have other large files causing trouble? Did you run the other DJ app in parallel (ask just to be sure)

If you could make the file available to the dev team it would be great. They will try to catch it and prevent from happening again. PM SylMv with the location if you don't want to share it in the forum.

I did run both app using same files.. Cross on the iPad and iPhone crashed with any mp3 longer than 12 minutes or so..

I loaded as a test an hour and 17 minute long mp3 file in djay, it loaded fine and played.. I thought it was maybe the file or iPad originally but i even went so far as to restore the iPad to factory and install just Cross but had the same crash with anything longer than around 12 minutes.

I did upload the log files from both devices to 'report.mobile@MixVibes.com' as suggested in another post.

Note: I ran another test with several hours of mp3s that were 7 to 10 minutes long each and let it play using Autoplay.. That worked perfectly.

Just an update: I've been talking with support and they believe a fix has been identified.

I did find a work around if anyone is having a crash problem loading tracks longer than 12 minutes.

If you Analyze all the tracks in a playlist prior to loading a long track to platter A/B it should load up fine.

Analyzing on load was causing an issue.

There is a fix in the next release (today in beta)

UncleVibes,you said that a error has been corrected. Are you sure? I use a new versions of Cross and I got a similar error.

This was resolved almost 2 years ago....
Please provide some more details on your device the version and possibly one of the trouble files. Also a description of what happens would be helpful.
