U-Mix Remote EQ Issues

Just downloaded Cross DJ and U-Mix Remote from the App Store. Syncs pretty well except with EQ controls - I can turn off Bass/Middle/Treble but when I turn the dials on the iPad there's no response in Cross DJ at all. When I turn them off, Cross DJ lights up the same button. Tried quitting and restarting. Please advise!

Thanks so much for all your work - I've been looking for a multi-touch DJ iPad app that connects to a computer and this is almost perfect!!

Macbook Pro running 10.6.8
Cross DJ 1.6.1
iPad model MB292LL version 4.3.5

:cool: :cool:Welcome to mixvibes fourm :cool: please regerster your software :cool: then you will be able to update your firm ware for the hardware and also update your software to the latest version, untill some one with experence on your software problems :cool: :cool: this might resolve your issue :idea: :cool: :cool:

Thanks for the welcome - the App store doesn't have a serial number so I'm not sure how to register, any thoughts?

Also, there's no hardware except the iPad. And I downloaded from the app store so should have the latest update, right?

:cool: :cool: not familiar with the software and the aspect of purchesing it from the app store ,, there was a recent posting along thoes lines and it was resolved ,, and no info pertaing to the eq problem :neutral: :neutral:

Yeah, I saw it yesterday and all it suggested was to restart the application, which is why I noted I had done so. Just tried it on my mac desktop and didn't have any issues. And now my laptop doesn't.

If anyone can ever explain how something can work one day and not the next, they will be my hero. Thanks for the help.

Actually, it's now back to not working. The only difference is that I'm using headphones on my laptop so wondering if it's an output issue of some kind? When I unplug them, though, they still don't work...

As far as registering goes, someone from tech support asked the person who posted to send their mac I.D. to resolve the issue. It was a separate issue, though, so not sure what that gets me.

Is there someone who works in tech support around here?

Thanks Danny I just PMed Vibes. Figured out if I adjust the EQ (or gain) in Cross DJ, it affects the knobs in U-Mix, but the knobs in U-Mix don't affect Cross DJ at all. Maybe it's some kind of bug... not sure why it worked on my desktop this morning, but will have to check again when i'm in front of it
