Writing directly to Mp3's

Would writing the tag info directly to the MP3 be supported in a future version, so having multiple computers does not require me to re-alayse all my vast mp3 collection. Then this feature will hopefully carry over to recordbox too :)

Tag info is already stored in the tag, which is:
- ID3 standard fields (artist, album, genre, etc.)
- some Cross custom fields (precise BPM and gain).

Complex analysis data aren't (peak, beatgrid).

Moreover, rekordbox is a Pioneer product, only Pioneer can decide what to add to rekordbox ;)

Been thinking about this, but would it be possible to have another Node in Cross that acts like Rekordbox? In that you could do all your beatgrid edits, cues, and loops on only 1 deck, with a larger display for the deck similar to, but not, rekordbox? Like preparation tab, but with only 1 deck, and a shrunk list of tracks. Maybe a complete waveform at the top, and an extra waveform where the trackhead is magnified so that you can grid quicker?

Will the beatgrid and peak ever be written to the tag in later versions?

For now, I don't think so. The main drawback being the increasing size of the file when storing too much information...
