FX MIDI control update

Hey MV Dev team.

There are a bunch of controllers out there which support FX triggering with values set to them. So my suggestion is to make a "Toggle and set" command, which should do the following in one command.

Toggle the wanted effect (effect No. Integer, and hold or toggle)
Set Amount value (integer between 0 and 100).
Set Depth value (integer between 0 ans 100).

This way you can create for example roll sequences using pads (pads correspond to different amount of beats, or beat devisions (2,1,1/2, 1/4, 1/8), and by just triggering them and punching them can make a lot of good effects.
Also a good solution for delay and echo effect.

Please give feedback on what you think.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This capability considered "standard", as most Pioneer controllers come with this, so it would be a nice controllerist feature, and it's wanted yesterday actually

I was thinking about this, too.
+1

for beat roll and delay mostly but i was hoping that it's a mapping possibility that i hadn't found out yet

BTW, is this available for loops already?

PS: also noticed that effects are the main concern of many members lately, and i believe that this isn't just random. maybe the MV should focus on them for the next release

Yeap... I would like to see a full-band bi-filter.

But good news for this roll thing: In Cross 2.3 you'll have slip mode for loops, and I just tested this with the beta, and it is awsome... And with slip-loops you can select-trigger autoloops, so what I wrote above with roll is actually achived.

Slip mode is realy cool. espacially with scratching. haven't used it anywhere but i imagine and i really want to try it. loops would be cool too.

Also, loops + slip mode = roll like effect? right?

Yeah, it is!
